Keep up with your notifications
Read what has happened that concerns you, open the record it is about, and clear what you have dealt with.
Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.
IQ Entities tells you when something needs you: a task assigned to you, a deadline coming up, a deadline that has passed. The bell in the top bar collects them, so the first job of the day is to work through what arrived since yesterday.
Check the bell
Look at the bell at the top right. The red badge counts your unread notifications.
Click the bell to see the newest notifications. An unread one has a blue dot. Click a notification to mark it read and open the record it is about.
Click View all notifications to see the full list.
Work through the full list
On the Notifications page, click Unread to show only what you have not read yet. The tab counts them.
Click a notification to open it. Use Load more at the foot of the list to see older ones.
When you have dealt with everything, click Mark all read.
Tips from practice
- Mark all read clears the badge, not the work: the tasks themselves stay open on the compliance calendar until they are done.
- If the bell is too noisy, or too quiet, change what reaches you in Choose which notifications you get.
- A task assigned to a role notifies every active member of that role, so a colleague may already be on it.
