Fill the gaps in an entity's record
See what is missing from each entity's record, across the group and for one company, and fill it in or track it as a task.
Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.
Deadlines, filings and reports are only as good as the data behind them. A company with no fiscal year end cannot have its accounts deadline scheduled; one with no registered office cannot be checked against the registrar. Data completeness shows what is missing, so you can fix the worst records first, for example when you bring a new group of companies on board.
See the gaps across the group
The Data health card on the dashboard lists the entities with core data missing, worst first. Each shows the checks it fails and its completeness score.
Click an entity's name to open it.
Work through one entity
Open the entity and choose Data Completeness in its sidebar. The same score appears on the header card of its Overview and Entity Details.
The card at the top shows the score and how many checks are complete.
Under Add documents, drop in incorporation documents, the cap table or registers. IQ reads them and proposes entries; when it has, a line says how many suggestions are waiting, with Review to check them.
Work through the remaining checks, grouped by area. Each failing check has a button that opens the page where it is filled in.
Click Track as task for a gap you cannot fill now, such as a tax ID you are waiting for. It becomes a task, and the check then offers View task.
Tips from practice
- Start with the checks that hold up deadlines: fiscal year end, registered office and the home registration.
- Your organisation's admins choose which checks count, under Data Completeness in Administration.
- For a list to share, the Data completeness report under Reports lists every entity with its score and missing items.
