Keep deadlines on the dashboard

Add the compliance cards to the dashboard so the team sees what is overdue, due soon and assigned to them as soon as they sign in.

Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.

The dashboard is the first page everyone sees after signing in. Putting the deadlines there means the morning question, what is late and what is next, is answered before anyone opens the calendar. The dashboard's layout is shared by the whole organisation, so this is usually set up once by an administrator.

Add the compliance cards

  1. On the Dashboard, choose Customise, then Add card, and choose the Compliance category. See Customise the dashboard for placing, sizing and saving cards.

  2. Add the cards your team works from, and choose Save.

Card What it shows
Compliance at a glance Overdue, Due soon and Open, side by side, counted as on the calendar
Overdue Work already past its date, oldest first
Due soon Open tasks falling due in the next 30 days, soonest first, overdue ones included
Assigned to me Each person's own open work
Filings in flight Registry submissions that have started and not finished
Obligations The duties the portfolio owes, by next due date

Read the cards

  1. Compliance at a glance gives the three counts. Click any of them to open the Compliance Calendar.

  2. The list cards name each task, its entity and its date, with overdue dates in red. Calendar on a card opens the Compliance Calendar, where the task can be worked.

Tips from practice

  • Assigned to me shows each viewer their own work, so one layout serves the whole team.
  • A card the viewer's role cannot read is left out for them rather than shown empty; see Read the dashboard.
  • The counts on the dashboard and on the calendar are the same numbers. Due soon on the summary counts the next 14 days, while the Due soon card lists the next 30.
  • For the full picture, filters and all, go to the Compliance Calendar.
