Review IQ's suggested changes

Check each register entry IQ proposes from a document against the document itself, correct it where needed, and accept or reject it.

Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.

When IQ reads a document it proposes the register entries the document supports: a new director and their appointment from a board consent, a transfer from a stock transfer form. None of them is written until you accept it. The Review Queue puts each proposal beside the document it came from, so you check it against the source rather than against memory.

Open the queue

Choose Review Queue under Document Intelligence in the left-hand menu, or click Review on a document in the Document Inbox. The number beside Review Queue in the menu is how many suggestions are waiting.

The queue lists the documents waiting By document. By data type groups the same proposals by what they change instead (all the new directors together, say), which suits clearing a large backlog one kind at a time. High, Medium and Needs input narrow the list to proposals IQ is more or less sure of.

Check a proposal

Each proposal is a card: what it creates or changes, the fields IQ read and IQ's confidence. Click a field's name to see the passage IQ read it from, in the document on the right.

  1. If a field is wrong, click Edit on the card.

  2. Correct the fields, then click Done. Where a card has it, Edit all details (the expand button beside Edit) opens every field of the record, including those the document did not mention.

  3. Click Accept & create to write the entry, or Reject to dismiss it. When a card is selected, A accepts and R rejects.

The accept button names what it does: Accept & create for a new record, Accept update for a change to one already on the register, Accept & end office for a resignation or removal, Apply proposed where the document disagrees with what the register holds, and Accept & file for saving the document itself under an entity. A card that says Accepting this also applies another card writes both, in the right order. A card that needs something the document does not say, such as which company a record belongs to, names it beside Reject and waits until you fill it in.

Accept a whole document

Once you have checked a document's proposals, Accept all at the top accepts every one still waiting. If some updates need the date the change took effect and the document does not state it, the button says how many it will accept and how many need a date.

The ⋯ beside it has the document's other actions:

When Choose
The document was saved under the wrong company Move to another entity…: it is read again there, and its current proposals are discarded
Nothing in it should go on the register Reject all
It should not be in the queue at all Remove from the queue…: its proposals are dismissed, and you choose whether to delete the file too

Tips from practice

  • Read the passage, not only the value. A date in a consent may be the date it was signed rather than the date the appointment took effect.
  • Treat Needs input cards first: they are the ones IQ could not settle from the document alone.
  • Accepting writes to the register, so it needs a role that can change entities. Anyone who can read documents can see the queue.
  • Removing a document from the queue never undoes what was already accepted from it.

Next: Save a document under an entity.
