Track your filings

See every registry submission across your companies, where each one stands, and record filings made outside IQ Entities.

Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.

The Filings page is the record of what has gone to a registry on your companies' behalf and how the registry answered. Deadlines live on the compliance calendar; this page answers a different question: what has been sent, and has it been accepted?

Open the Filings page

  1. On the dashboard, choose All filings in the Filings in flight panel. The panel itself lists the filings still in progress.

  2. Read the counts across the top: Total filings, Confirmed (accepted by the registry), In progress (draft, prepared or submitted) and Rejected.

  3. Use the search box to find a filing by company, filing type or confirmation number, and the filters to narrow the list by Status, Entity or Filing type.

Work with a filing

  1. Each row shows the status, the company, the filing type, when it was submitted, the registry's confirmation number, and whether a result document is held.

  2. Click a filing's menu to open the task it was filed from with View task.

  3. For a filing made outside IQ Entities, open the menu, choose Set status under Record manually, and pick the status the registry gave it.

Record a filing made elsewhere

  1. Click New filing.

  2. Choose the Entity and the Filing type, and click Create filing. It creates a tracking record that starts as a draft; move it on with Set status as the filing progresses.

Tips from practice

  • Filings made from a task move on their own as Companies House answers. Set a status by hand only for a filing IQ Entities did not send.
  • A filing at Submitted for more than a day or two is worth opening: the registry may be waiting on something, and the reason shows under the status when it gave one.
  • Sort by Status to bring the filings still in flight to the top.
