Produce a directors or PSC listing
Generate a dated listing of a company's directors or people with significant control for a board pack or an auditor.
Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.
Board packs, auditors and banks regularly ask for a list of a company's directors, or of the people with significant control over it. IQ Entities produces both as a listing: a reference extract of the records it holds, current and ceased, dated today.
A listing is not a statutory register. Since 18 November 2025 the registrar keeps the registers of directors, secretaries and people with significant control, and a UK company no longer has to keep its own. The listing says so on the page and in the document it produces.
Open the listing
Open the company's Directors & Officers page and click Directors listing. For people with significant control, open PSC filings and click PSC listing instead.
Check the listing. It shows every director IQ Entities holds for the company, active and ceased, with the date they were appointed and the date they ceased.
Generate the document
Click Generate document.
Under Formats, keep PDF, and tick Word (.docx) as well if someone needs to edit it.
Click Generate to open the listing, or Download to save the files.
Tips from practice
- A listing is always drawn as at today. To show who was a director on an earlier date, use the appointment and end dates on Directors & Officers with Show former ticked.
- If the listing looks wrong, correct the appointments on Directors & Officers and generate it again; the listing has no data of its own.
- The register of members is the one register a UK company must still keep itself, and it is produced from the share records, not from here.
