See an entity's year of deadlines

Use an entity's own Forecast to see each recurring duty once, with every deadline in the coming months marked on its track.

Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.

A new director, an incoming finance lead or a client taking over a subsidiary all ask the same question: what does this company have to do, and when? The entity's own Forecast answers it on one page, as a duty timeline. Each recurring duty appears once, with every deadline in the horizon marked on a line, so a monthly duty is one row of twelve marks rather than twelve rows.

Open the entity's Forecast

  1. Open the entity and choose Forecast under Compliance in its sidebar.

  2. Choose how far ahead to look. 12 months gives a full year for a briefing.

Read the counts

The four counts cover the whole horizon. Overdue is open tasks past their deadline. Due in the next 30 days says how many of those are already tasks. Statutory deadlines counts the deadlines projected in the horizon, and Annual reviews counts the yearly checks on duties with no set deadline, kept apart from the rest.

Read the duties

  1. The legend says what each mark is: a filled mark for an open task, a hollow one for a projected deadline, red for an overdue task, and a dashed one for an annual review.

  2. Each row names the duty and its rhythm, such as Annually, says when it is Next due, and marks every deadline on the track. Click a task's mark to open the task; a projected deadline has nothing to open until its task is raised.

  3. A row marked Event · task raised is a duty that only starts when something happens, shown because a task exists for it. Other tasks gathers the tasks with no duty behind them, such as ones added by hand.

Tips from practice

  • Duties that only start with an event appear here once a task exists for them. The rest are on the entity's Obligations Overview, linked at the foot of the page.
  • Switch off Show annual reviews to brief a board on statutory deadlines alone. The counts stay the same; only the list narrows.
  • If a date looks wrong, check the entity's details, such as its year end, rather than the Forecast. The projected dates move when the record changes.
  • To look back rather than ahead, see Show an entity's compliance track record.
