Produce a person's profile
Download a PDF profile of one or more people, with their appointments and holdings across the group, and their change history.
Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.
A bank onboarding a new signatory, a regulator's fitness review or a board pack for a new director all ask for the same thing: everything held about the person, in one document. The person profile sets it out from the records, and can be joined to the history of every change recorded about them.
From the person's page
Open the person and click Reports.
Under Generate for this person, choose what you need:
| You need | Choose |
|---|---|
| Who the person is, their roles and holdings across the group | Profile |
| Every recorded change relating to them | Change history |
| Both, in one PDF | Profile + change history |
The PDF downloads when it is ready. If it takes longer than usual, collect it later from Reports, under Recent reports.
For several people at once
Open People from the sidebar and tick the people to include.
Click Generate profile. The button counts the people ticked, and one PDF profiles them all.
What the profile holds
The profile covers the person's identity and contact details, their identifiers and personal data, addresses, appointments and holdings in the group, relationships outside the portfolio, any additional information your organisation records, and the documents held about them.
Tips from practice
- Change history needs a role that can read the audit trail. Without one, Profile + change history still downloads the profile, with a note that the history was left out.
- Without access to personal data, identifiers in the profile are redacted, and the cover says so. Check the cover before sending a profile outside.
- One run covers up to 100 people; the cover says when it was capped.
- Record a director's outside interests before you produce the profile for a fitness review; see Record a director's outside interests.
