Check the group for missing data before year end
Have IQ read every company's data completeness checks, rank the gaps that hold up deadlines, and track them as tasks.
Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.
Before the year end, every company needs the data its filings are built from: a fiscal year end, a registered office, its home registration. Data completeness checks each company against the checks your organisation has chosen. IQ reads those results company by company and puts them in one answer, so you can start with the gaps that will hold up a deadline.
Ask for the review
Click Ask IQ in the top bar from the dashboard, where the Data health card lists the worst records, or open IQ Assistant.
Ask for the whole group, and say what to put first:
Before the year end, check every company in the group for missing data. List each company's completeness score and the checks it fails, worst first, and say which gaps would hold up a filing deadline.
IQ looks up the companies and reads each one's data completeness checks and score. To limit the review to one parent and what it controls, ask from that company with This group selected; see Ask IQ about one entity or the whole group.
Track the gaps you cannot fill today
Ask IQ to raise a task for each gap that needs someone else, such as a tax ID you are waiting for.
Each task is a change, so IQ asks first, with a card saying IQ wants to create a completeness task. It is the same task Track as task raises on the company's Data Completeness page.
Check the answer
- Open each company's Data Completeness page before you fill a gap: the failing check has a button to the page where it is filled in. See Fill the gaps in an entity's record.
- Which checks count is set by your organisation's admins. A gap IQ does not mention may be one nobody has asked for.
Tips from practice
- For a group of more than a handful of companies, an insight puts the same question in a grid you can sort and export; see Compare entities with an insight.
- Ask IQ which gaps a document already in IQ Entities could fill, such as the incorporation certificate; then upload the rest to the company's Document Inbox.
- Repeat the question a month before the year end, in the same chat, to see what is still open.
