Ask IQ what is due this month
Ask IQ for the group's deadlines in a period, grouped by owner, and have it assign the tasks nobody holds.
Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.
At the start of each month someone has to answer two questions for the team: what falls due, and who is doing it. The Compliance Calendar holds the answer task by task. IQ reads the same tasks and gives the answer in the shape you ask for, such as by owner, by company or overdue first, which is quicker to forward than a filtered list.
Ask the question
Click Ask IQ in the top bar, from the dashboard or any page in Global scope, or open IQ Assistant in the sidebar.
Ask for the period, and say how you want the answer laid out:
What is due across the group this month? Group the tasks by who they are assigned to, and list anything overdue or unassigned first.
IQ looks up the tasks due in that window, with each one's company, status, due date and assignee, and whether it is overdue. These look-ups change nothing, so it answers without asking you first.
Have IQ assign the loose ends
Follow up in the same chat, for example: "Assign the unassigned confirmation statement tasks to Alex Morgan."
Assigning a task changes it, so IQ asks first. Each card says IQ wants to update the task. Approve the ones you meant, or Approve all when there are several.
The person you assign is told about it in the same way as when you assign a task yourself. See Assign tasks to people and teams.
Check the answer
- Open the Compliance Calendar filtered to the same dates for anything you will act on. See See what is due across the group.
- A task appears only once its reminder period opens, so a deadline further out may not have a task yet. Ask IQ about the forecast to see those; see Look ahead at the deadlines to come.
Tips from practice
- IQ knows today's date in UK time, so "this month", "next week" and "overdue" mean what they mean to you. Name the dates when you mean a different period, such as a quarter that has not started.
- Narrow the question to an entity group or to "my tasks" when you only need your own share of the work.
- Save a question you ask every month: in the + menu choose Prompt library, then New, and Save prompt. Write
[entity]where a company's name goes, and it is filled in from the page you ask on.
