Working a task
- Open a task and see what raised itOpen a compliance task and read why it exists, what started it, why it is due when it is and what will close it.
- Mark a task as doneRecord what was done on a task, attach the receipt if you have one, and close it with an evidence pack behind it.
- Confirm a duty no record can settleClose a task whose only proof is your judgement, such as taking reasonable steps, with a note of what was done.
- Fill in what a filing still needsUse a filing task's Needed to file card to complete the record before the form can go to the registry.
- Prepare the documents for a taskDraw up the board resolution, consent and other paperwork a task needs from your templates, or upload copies signed elsewhere.
- Record a filing made with another regulatorFile a duty with the regulator that owns it, using the values the task lists, then record the reference to close the task.
- Assign tasks to people and teamsGive a task an owner from the Compliance Calendar, one at a time or several at once, so every deadline has a name against it.
- Add or remove a task by handAdd a one-off task to the Compliance Calendar, or delete a task raised in error with a reason kept on the record.
Approvals
