See where a person sits in the group
See every company a person holds shares in, the subsidiaries beneath them, and the board seats they hold across the group.

When a shareholder sells out, a director resigns or a regulator asks about a person with significant control, the first question is everywhere this person touches the group. Each person's record answers it from the cap tables and appointments you already keep.
Open the person's structure charts
Open the person from People and choose Structure Charts in their sidebar.
The Network view tab draws the person at the top, each company they hold shares in beneath them with their percentage, and those companies' subsidiaries below that.
Type a date in As at to see their holdings as they stood that day, the same way as on a company's structure chart.
See their seats and holdings as lists
Choose Board seats for the boards and offices they hold. Show former adds the appointments they have left.
Choose Ownership for their direct holdings.
Each company they hold shares in is listed with the share class, their percentage, and whether it is a controlling interest.
Tips from practice
- The Ownership list shows direct holdings only. Indirect control through a holding company is what the Network view is for.
- The figures come from the cap tables. Before relying on them for a transaction, check the company's cap table itself, as the page reminds you.
- For the same picture from a company's point of view, see See your group structure.
