Read the dashboard

See what needs attention across every entity in your organisation, and get back to the companies you were working on.

Screenshots are retaken from IQ Entities on every release. Updated 14 October 2026.

The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It is the morning check for a company secretarial team: how many entities you hold, what is waiting for review, which records have gaps, and the companies you opened most recently.

Open the dashboard

  1. Click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar. If you are working on one entity, choose Global in the scope switcher first, and the sidebar offers Dashboard again.

  2. Read the cards from the top. The counts across the top show your entities, the items Awaiting review and the people on the register. Recently viewed lists the companies and people you opened last, newest first, so you can go straight back to one.

  3. Click a company in Recently viewed to open its overview, or a person to open their contact details. All entities opens the entity register.

Why your dashboard can differ from a colleague's

The dashboard's layout is set once for the whole organisation, so everyone sees the same cards in the same order. A card that shows data your role cannot read is left out for you, and the grid closes up around it. When that happens, a line under the cards says how many are not visible to your role.

Tips from practice

  • Recently viewed is personal: it lists what you opened, not what your colleagues did.
  • If the dashboard is missing a card your team relies on, an administrator can add it. See Customise the dashboard.
  • To look at one company or one group instead of the whole portfolio, see Work on one entity or the whole group.
